Our Federation

About Us

The Badminton Federation of Armenia is the national governing body for badminton in the Republic of Armenia, a full member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Europe.

Developing Badminton Across Armenia

The Badminton Federation of Armenia was established in 1992 in Yerevan. In the same year the federation joined the European Badminton Union (EBU) and the International Badminton Federation (IBF) — which was renamed the Badminton World Federation (BWF) in 2006. Since 1992 the Armenian national team has participated in European championships and various international competitions.

Our mission is to develop and promote badminton at all levels — from school programs to elite international competition — while upholding fair play, inclusion, and athlete welfare.
